In March 2016, Kimberly-Clark's Tissue Paper Machine went in to production in Ecatepec, Mexico.
This was the first engineering work of Optieng in Latin America, Mexico in a sub-contract of engineering services from Valmet automation including the following tasks:
> Programming and configuration of the Valmet DNA system
> FAT application software with Kimberly-Clark and Valmet automation in Atlanta, USA
> Commissioning and start-up support of the Valmet DNA DCS control system for the new Tissue Paper Machine
> This work included a total of approximately 1,350 I / O's
